What is LIVEWIRE?
LIVEWIRE is a benefit concert hosted by the University of Kansas's chapter of Engineers Without Borders-USA (EWB-KU). EWB-KU is a service organization dedicated to improving the lives of people in underdeveloped communities through hands-on engineering work. We volunteer locally, nationally, and internationally. All proceeds from LIVEWIRE will go towards funding our international water projects in Uganda and Bolivia.

The Venue
The White Schoolhouse is located at 1510 N 3rd St in Lawrence, KS - just before Tee Pee Junction about half a mile north of the East Lawrence turnpike exit from I-70. The venue has deep roots in Lawrence and is an intimate, nostalgic space with a basement perfectly suited for some rockin' local bands.

We've looked into every corner of Lawrence to put together an amazing lineup of local artists for this year's LIVEWIRE benefit concert. From folk to emo, get ready for a full night of certified AWESOME performances.
